Probably the most famous barn in Central PA, The Star Barn was built in 1877 in the Gothic Revival style of architecture, making it one of the most unique barns around. With towering rooftop cupolas, a carriage house, a stone tunnel, and thirty acres of picturesque land, The Star Barn is one beautiful barn you will not want to pass up visiting.
Fun fact: If you want to visit the Star Barn, you will have to travel to Elizabethtown, PA, which is not originally where the barn was built. In 2018, the barn was disassembled in Middletown and reassembled in Elizabethtown.
Brick Gables
The Brick Gables barn is a popular wedding venue in quaint Lititz, Pennsylvania. Now a big, shiny red barn, Brick Gables was taken over by a family who put in lots of hard work to turn a simple barn into a modern rustic barn perfect for any event.
Harvest View Barn
Does it get any more beautiful than this? Harvest View Barn sits on 250 acres of farmed land and has been family owned and operated for about a century. Harvest View Barn has a beautiful, still lake with a gazebo- perfect for taking pictures and making memories. Harvest View can also be rented as a wedding venue like most Lancaster County barns.
The Barn at Silverstone
The Barn at Silverstone is one you can’t miss in Lancaster County. Silverstone is true to its name, with the interior walls lined with silvery-white stones- something unique you won’t see in many barns. In 1751, the land The Barn at Silverstone sits on was originally deeded to a family by William Penn himself. This is a barn filled with history for everyone to enjoy.
